The Island largest Garden Fair offered fun and entertainment for the whole family with a weekend packed full of live shows, demonstrations, re-enactments, children's activities, magic shows, and even a visit from our furry & feathered friends from the IOW donkey sanctuary, West Wight alpacas and Haven Falconry.
Family fun activities included a Scouts Kids Zone, Vectis Searchers metal detectors, beautiful vintage amusements, bouncy castles & slides, 'have a go' archery, kayaking around the moat, a fun dog show and much more! - All of this running alongside a showground of over 170 amazing Island & mainland nurseries, garden and craft exhibitors showcasing their wares.
2023's fair saw a variety of displays by IOW Embroiderers, IOW Guild of Weavers, Spinners & Dyers, IOW Coppice group, Vectis Historic Vehicle Club, Vectis Vintage Tractor & Engines, the MG club and the American Auto Club.
We hosted live chainsaw carving, garden and wildlife conservation experts, vintage fairground amusements and a fair favourite the Passamezzo Elizabethans each year.
In 2023 we hosted is a local food market and also a feast of mouth-watering refreshment trucks & stalls including Fat Shaun's Hogs Roast, Whitby Scampi & Chips, The Proper Burger Co, JB Fisheries, Cowes Fruitful Yoghurts, Doughnuts, Wight Crystal, The Coffee Stop, The Vintage Tearoom and Calbourne Classics Ice Creaam.
A huge thank you to all who attended, supported and exhibited our 2023 fair enabling us to raise an incredible £30,000 for local Island charity Age UK Isle of Wight!
